Data Description:

Includes the total interest charges during the month on deposits (net of early withdrawal penalties) and borrowings (FHLBANK advances, commercial bank loans, reverse and retail repurchase agreements, commercial paper, subordinated debentures, mortgage-backed bonds and other borrowed money) plus net amortized deferred gains (losses) on futures/options hedging liabilities conducted in accordance with Regulations 563.17 4(g) and 563.17 5(g). Capitalized interest are not deducted.

Does not include interest charges for advance payment by borrowers for taxes and insurance. Interest charges as defined on this line differs from the amount computed in item 1054 (net operating income).
