Data Description:
Includes loans to domestic establishments engaged in manufacture of pulps from wood and other cellulose fibers and rags; manufacture of paper and paperboard; and manufacture of paper and paper board into converted products such as paper coated off the paper machine, paper bags, paper boxes, and envelopes. Includes loans to domestic establishments engaged in printing by one or more of the common processes, such as letterpress, lithography, gravure, or screen; and those domestic establishments which perform services for printing trade, such as bookbinding, typesetting, engraving, photoengraving, and electrotyping. Also included are loans to domestic establishments engaged in publishing newspapers, books, and periodicals, regardless of whether or not they do their own printing. COMPARABILITY: Prior to 1/25/67, includes foreign commercial and industrial loans.
