Data Description:
Includes loans to domestic companies engaged in generation, transmission and/or distribution of electricity, gas, or steam. Such companies and systems may be combinations of any of the above three services and also include other types of service such as transportation, communication, and refrigeration. Water and irrigation systems and sanitary systems engaged in collection and disposal of garbage, sewage, and other wastes by means of destroying or processing materials are also included. NOTE: Prior to 1/25/67, not shown separately but included in "Commercial and Industrial Loans, Transportation, Communications, and Other Public Utilities (1700)."
