Data Description:
Includes the amount of outstanding paper placed by the reporting dealer, and thus reported in item 6696, that is issued by the reporting dealer firm, its affiliates, or parent. Note: 1) Excludes any commercial paper issued by a parent or affiliate that reports outstanding paper on the Report of Commercial Paper Outstanding Placed Directly by Issuers, FR 2957b. 2) Dealers who are affiliated with a bank or bank holding company are not to include commercial paper that has been placed directly by their parent bank holding company or any affiliates thereof, because this paper is to be reported as directly-placed paper on The Weekly Report of Assets and Liabilities for Large Banks, FR 2416 (WRBK). 3) Excludes commercial paper issued by special purpose funding companies established by the reporting dealer and included in item 6696.
