Data Description:

Includes all time deposits in denominations of less than $100,000 with original maturities of 2-1/2 years or more that were issued on or after April 1, 1983, or with original maturities of 3-1/2 years or more that were issued on or after May 1, 1982, regardless of interest rate paid. Such deposits, which may be negotiable or nonnegotiable must be offered in denominations of $500 but may also be offered in other denominations. Excludes those deposits held in IRA's and KEOGH plans.
