Data Description:
The stated interest rate per annum (nominal rate before compounding) on the largest dollar volume of deposits issued or renewed on "All Interest-Bearing Time Certificates And Open Account Time Deposits With Balances Of Less Than $100,000 And With Original Maturities Of 7 Thru 31 Days (6777)" during the 7 days ending on the survey date (that is, the period from Thursday through Wednesday). If more than one rate was paid during this period, includes the rate paid on the largest dollar volume of deposits issued or renewed during the week. If a bank offered an instrument but no deposits were issued or renewed during the reporting period preceding the survey date, the rate the bank was offering is reported. The interest rates are reported to the nearest one hundredth of a percentage point.
