This report provides information regarding the conclusion of the Independent Foreclosure Review Payment Agreement, which resulted from mortgage servicing related enforcement actions issued by the Board in 2011 and 2012 against several large servicers for deficient practices in mortgage loan servicing and foreclosure processing. The report includes data on the final status of cash payments made to borrowers and foreclosure prevention assistance provided under the Payment Agreement focusing on servicers supervised by the Federal Reserve.
