Data Description:


Includes all interest, fees, and similar charges levied against or associated with all tax-exempt loans to states and political subdivisions in the U.S. (in domestic offices) reportable in Schedule RC-C, part I, item 2107, column B. Tax-exempt loans are those loans to states and political subdivisions in the U.S. the income from which is excludable from gross income for federal income tax purposes, regardless of whether the income from the loan must be included in the bank's alternative minimum taxable income and regardless of the federal income tax treatment of the interest expense incurred to carry the loan. The income reported in this item is included in one or more of Schedule RI, items 4246, 4247, items 4248 and 4249 (for the FFIEC 033 report).
