Data Description:
All benefits, other than direct compensation, paid or accrued during report period on behalf of all officers and employees, exclusive of building department personnel. Includes: bank's own contribution to its retirement or pension fund for current period; life insurance premiums (net of dividends received) and hospitalization insurance paid by bank; unemployment and social security taxes paid by bank on its own account; net cost to bank for employee dining rooms, restaurants, and cafeterias; cost of medical or health services; and other so-called fringe benefits for officers and employees.
Excludes expenses related to: testing, training, or education of officers and employees; cost of bank newspapers and magazines; premiums on insurance policies when bank is beneficiary; athletic activities when purpose maybe construed to be for the bank or public relations with incidental employee benefits. These amounts are included in "Other Current Operating Expenses (5066)."
