Data Description:
Includes all loans to and balances due from other IBFs'. Includes loans such as securities purchased under agreements to resell and loans in immediately available funds with one day maturity or under continuing contract. "Other IBFs'" includes all IBFs' not operated by the establishing entity. They are defined as follows: (1) For IBFs' established by a U.S. commercial bank, "other IBFs'" includes those IBFs' established by other banks, by U.S. branches and agencies of foreign banks, by U.S. offices of the establishing bank's Edge Act or Agreement subsidiaries, and by U.S. offices of other Edge Act and Agreement Corporations. (2) For IBFs' established by U.S. branches and agencies of foreign banks, "other IBFs'" includes those IBFs' established by U.S. branches and agencies of the same foreign bank that are located in a state or a Federal Reserve District different than the reporting IBF, by Edge Act or Agreement Corporations or commercial banks owned by the same foreign bank, by U.S. commercial banks owned by the same foreign bank, by U.S. commercial banks, and by U.S. offices of other Edge Act or Agreement Corporations. (3) For IBFs' established by U.S. offices of Edge Act and Agreement Corporations, "other IBFs'" includes those IBFs' established by U.S. offices of the same parent Edge Act or Agreement Corporation that are located in a state or Federal Reserve District different than the reporting IBF, by the Edge Act or Agreement Corporation's parent commercial bank, by other U.S. commercial banks, by U.S. branches and agencies of foreign banks, or by other Edge Act or Agreement Corporations.
