Data Description:

Includes the number of all ATS and NOW (negotiable order of withdrawal) (including "Super NOW") accounts as of the survey date.

ATS accounts are savings deposits of individuals that are authorized for automatic transfer to demand deposits or other accounts pursuant to written agreement arranged in advance between the reporting depository institution and the depositor.

NOW accounts are deposits or accounts on which interest or dividends are paid and the customer is allowed to make a withdrawal by negotiable or transferable instruments for the purpose of making transfers to third parties.
