Includes the book value net of any depreciation allowance established, of all real estate owned, whether solely or jointly, except that reported in items 1577 and 0176. Also includes (1) investments and joint ventures in acquisition, development, construction projects under the criteria presented in Reg.571.17 and (2) any real estate formerly occupied or intended for occupancy by your institution that will not be so used in the future. Deducted are valuation allowances, these are included in item 0178.
