Data Description:
Report the gross amount of refinanced or restructured mortgage loans during the quarter that you have reported in items 0918, 0919, 0926, C524, C525, 0166, and 0930.
Also include:
1. Both refinanced loans where the reporting institution held the original mortgage and refinanced loans where another institution held the original mortgage.
2. Any loan where the terms of the loan (principal, rate, or maturity) are modified, including TDRS.
3. The full amount of the new refinanced loan even though you report only the new amount disbursed on item 0918, 0919, 0926, C524, C525, 0166, and 0930.
4. All loans refinanced this quarter, even if you disbursed no new funds; these loans will not be reported on items 0918, 0919, 0926, C524, C525, 0166, and 0930.
COMPARABILITY:
Prior to 3/31/04, included the gross amount of refinanced loans during the quarter that were reported in items 0918, 0919, 0926, 0192, 0193, 0194, 0195, 0166, and 0930 where the reporting thrift held the original loan being refinanced. Includes both troubled debt restructurings and non-troubled debt restructings. In this data field report the full amount of the new refinanced loan even though only the new amount disbursed is reported in items 0918, 0919, 0926, 0192, 0193, 0194, 0195, 0166, and 0930. Includes all loans that were refinanced this quarter, even if no new funds were disbursed. In cases where no new funds were disbursed, an amount will be included here for loans that are not reported in items 0918, 0919,0926, 0192, 0193, 0194, 0195, 0166, and 0930.
