Data Description:
Includes the total amount of all other savings deposits that are included in total nontransaction accounts. Other savings deposits includes: (1) Deposits or accounts subject to telephone or preauthorized transfer where the depositor is not permitted or authorized to make no more than three withdrawals per month or statement cycle (or similar period) of a least four weeks for purposes of transferring funds to another account (including a transaction account) of the depositor in the same institution or for making a payment to a third party by means of preauthorized or telephonic (including data transmission) agreement, order, or instruction, provided that no such withdrawals may be by check, draft, or similar order (including debit card) drawn by the depositor to third persons; (2) Savings deposits subject to no more than three transfers per month for purposes of covering overdrafts (i.e., overdraft protection plan accounts); and (3) All other savings deposits (e.g., passbook savings or statement savings accounts).
Excludes all money market deposit accounts (MMDA's). (Reported in item 6810.)
