Equity investments representing 20-50 percent of the voting shares of an organization are reported using the equity method of accounting. For purposes of the "SUBC" report, includes securities that have been sold under repurchase agreements. These securities are treated as collateral for financial transactions and not as sales. The transactions arising from security RPs are reported as liabilities in item 2853. Excludes securities that have been purchased under resale agreements which are reported in items 2122, 3123, and 2125.
