Data Description:

Includes fees earned from servicing mortgage loans and participations for others. Servicing fees for nonmortgage loans are reported in item 0493.

If the reporting thrift services loans for others and has recorded purchased servicing or excess loan servicing, the difference between the net interest retained and the amortization should be reported in items 0505 and 3685. Servicing expenses are not deducted.
