Data Description:
Includes adjustments for mergers, consolidations, or purchase of assets and assumptions of liabilities that occurred during 1987 that should be made according to current Reg.563.13(b)(7). This requires combining the amounts reported on the December 1986 quarterly financial report in item 0231 by the merged and continuing (surviving) institutions to obtain a new total liabilities amount. In transactions involving less than substantially all of the liabilities of an institution, the purchasing institution should add the total liabilities acquired to obtain a new total liabilities figure and the seller should subtract the amount sold to obtain a new total liabilities figure.
