Data Description:
Includes claims on other non-U.S. branches or subsidiaries of the parent bank that are located either within or outside the country of domicile of the reporting branch or subsidiary. Such claims are included whether or not the particular branches or subsidiaries against which the claims exists are exempt from reporting on the FR 2502q. Non-U.S. branches or subsidiaries are those located outside the fifty states of the United States and the District of Columbia, excluding those located on U.S. military facilities. NOTE: Reported on the FR 2502q (QFBS) report. COMPARABILITY: Prior to 3/31/94, includes the total sum of "Claims on Other Foreign Branches of Parent Bank Payable in U.S. Dollars (1355)" and "Claims on Other Foreign Branches of Parent Bank Payable in Other Currencies (1356)" reported on the FR 2502 (MFBR) report.
