Data Description:
Includes the amortized cost of all held-to-maturity holdings of mortgage pass-through securities guaranteed by the Government National Mortgage Association (GNMA) that are not held for trading. In general, a mortgage pass-through security represents an undivided interest in a pool that provides the holder with a pro rata share of all principal and interest payments on the residential mortgages in the pool, and includes certificates of participation in pools of residential mortgages. Excludes mortgage pass-through securities issued by FNMA and FHLMC (reported in Schedule RC-B for the FFIEC 031-034 reports and in Schedule HC-A for the FR Y-9C report, item 1703).
