Data Description:
Includes the book value of all fixed rate mortgage-backed pass-through certificates, such as those guaranteed by the Government National Mortgage Association (GNMA) and those issued by the Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA), the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (FHLMC), and certain banks and savings associations, on the basis of the time remaining until their final contractual maturity. Any adjustable rate mortgage-backed pass-through certificates on the basis of the earliest possible repricing opportunity is reported. Excludes all trading account assets and equity securities. For available-for-sale securities, amortized cost (not fair value) should be reported in Schedule RC-J.
The sum of the amount reported in Schedule RC-J, column H for this item plus the amount of nonaccrual certificates of participation included in Schedule RC-N, column C, item 3507, must equal the sum of Schedule RC-B, items 4(a)(1) through 4(a)(3) (8500), column A, plus the sum of Schedule RC-B, items 4(a)(1) through 4(a)(3) (8503), column C.
