Data Description:
Includes the amount of all debt securities, other than mortgage-backed pass-through certificates reported in item 1857 and trading account securities. Any debt securities reported in this item that have multiple principal payments (e.g., serial bonds) should be spread across the Schedule RC-J columns based upon the earlier of (a) the scheduled contractual principal payments, or (b) the earliest possible repricing opportunity. For available-for-sale securities, amortized cost (not fair value) should be reported in Schedule RC-J.
The sum of the amount reported in Schedule RC-J, column H for this item plus the amount of nonaccrual "other debt securities" included in Schedule RC-N, column C, item 3507, must equal the sum of Schedule RC-B, items 0211, 8492, 8496, 8504 and 1774, column A, plus the sum of Schedule RC-B, items 1287, 8495, 8499, 8507 and 1777, column C.
