Data Description:
Includes any arrangement made by the reporting institution to pay a third party from the account of a depositor upon written or oral instruction (including an order received through an Automated Clearing House (ACH)), or any arrangement made by the reporting institution to pay a third party from the account of the depositor at a predetermined time or on a fixed schedule. Such arrangement is made, when the depositor is permitted or authorized to make more than three withdrawals per month for purposes of transferring funds to another account or for making a payment to a third party by means of preauthorized or telephone agreement, order or instruction. Also includes savings deposits, time deposits or accounts in which payments may be made to third parties by means of a debit card, an automated teller machine, remote service unit or other electronic device.
Excludes those accounts that permit no more than three telephone or preauthorized transfers a month to another account of the depositor in the same institution or to a third party. Such accounts are included in "Other Savings Deposits - Personal (2368)" and "Other Savings Deposits - Nonpersonal (2369)".
