Data Description:


Includes money market certificates in denominations of $2,500 but less than $100,000 with original maturities of 91 days for which the maximum permissible rate of interest on new deposits in tied to the discount yield (auction average) on the most recently issued 91-day (13 week) treasury bill.

Excludes those money market certificates held in IRA and KEOGH plans. These are included in "All Other IRA and KEOGH Plan Time and Savings Deposits (6818)". Also excludes all time deposits with maturities of 91 days for which the interest rate is equal to or below the current fixed ceiling established under Regulation Q.


COMPARABILITY:

Prior to 1/5/83, the minimum balance on 91-day MMC's was $7,500 but less than $100,000.
