Data Description:

Includes the total amount in money market mutual funds that are used as receptacle accounts for sweep arrangements. Typically, sweep arrangements involve maintaining a NOW or other transaction account within predetermined threshold amounts. Funds deposited in the account that would bring balances above the threshold are automatically "swept" into a receptacle account; similarly, funds needed for payment of checks against the transaction account that would reduce it below its predetermined minimum are supplied by shifting funds from the receptacle account to the transaction account.
