Includes the deposits of all foreign-domiciled banking institutions that have U.S. branches and agencies, but excludes the deposits of their U.S. branches and agencies (reported in "Deposits of U.S. Branches and Agencies and Agencies of Foreign Banks (2661)"). Includes all foreign-domiciled banking institutions that are subsidiaries or affiliates of other U.S. branches (reported in "Deposits of Foreign Branches of Other U.S. Banks (2665)"). Reciprocal balances with these banks are reported gross.
Excludes deposits of foreign official institutions.
