Other extended credit is provided under the authority of section 201.3(b) (2) of Regulation A in instances where there are exceptional circumstances or practices--such as persisting deposit drains or impaired money-market access--that involves a particular depository institution. Such credit also may be provided in circumstances where a number of institutions are experiencing difficulties adjusting to changing money market conditions over a longer period of time.
