Data Description:

Includes the quarterly average gross balances due to related depository offices domiciled in the U.S. The respondent is given the option of reporting either (1) an average of the daily figures for the preceding calendar quarter ending with the report date or (2) an average of weekly figures (i.e., the Wednesday of each week of the preceding quarter). The figures to be averaged are the amounts outstanding at the close of business for each day, or each Wednesday.
