Data Description:
The average of "Time Certificates of Deposit in Denominations of $100,000 or More (6645)" and "Other Time Deposits in Amounts of $100,000 or More (6645)" for the 30 calendar days (or calendar month) ending with the Call date.
The amounts averaged are those outstanding at the close of business for each day. If the reporting bank is closed on Saturday, the closing figure for Friday is used for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
COMPARABILITY:
Prior to 6/30/77, the reporting bank had the option of reporting a 15-day or 30-day (or calendar month) average. Once the bank had chosen either the 15-day, 30-day, or calendar month averaging method, it computed averages for each Call on that basis.
