Data Description:

Uses of funds minus sources of funds. A positive number indicates a need for funds which are reported under expected sources of funds, items 3755, 3756, 3757, and 3758. A negative number indicates that the thrift expects to be able to fund its operations without reducing liquidity reserves or borrowing from outside sources and a zero is reported for this item. Uses of funds: Reductions in deposits is shown as outflows. If an increase in deposits is anticipated this should be a negative number. Sources of funds: Assets sales that are included here generally includes loan sales, disposals of distressed properties, and other significant asset sales negotiated privately.
