Data Description:
Includes the credit equivalent amount, as determined under the risk-based capital guidelines, for those off-balance sheet items that are direct claims on, or claims unconditionally guaranteed by the U.S. Government and other OECD central governments. For national and state member banks, this includes those credit equivalent amounts that (a) are collateralized by cash on deposit or by securities issued by, or directly and unconditionally guaranteed by, the U.S. Government or its agencies or the central government of an OECD country and (b) qualify for a zero percent risk weight in accordance with the risk-based capital standards issued by the reporting bank's primary federal supervisory authority.
