Data Description:
Includes that portion of the bank's total contingent liability for financial standby letters of credit reported in item 3819 that the bank has conveyed to others. Also includes that portion of the reporting bank's financial standby letters of credit that are backed by other banks' financial standby letters of credit, as well as the portion that participating banks have reparticipated to others. Participations and backings may be for any part or all of a given obligation.
COMPARABILITY:
Beginning 3/31/01, reported on Schedule HC-L for the FR Y-9C (BHCK) reports. For this report include that portion of the consolidated bank holding company's total contingent liability for financial standby letters of credit reported in item 2 (6566).
For the UBPR series, the FDIC's Data Element name is H-FINCONVEY
This variable is used by the FDIC and OCC in the process to generate the UBPR in the Central Data Repository (CDR). The Board does NOT store this MDRM within the UBPR series tables in the Board's Financial Data Repository (FDR).
