Data Description:
Includes the amount of securities that are sold by the broker or dealer under repurchase agreements involving the same or substantially identical securities. Such transactions are treated as financing (borrowing) transactions and are at the amount at which the securities will be reacquired as specified under the repurchase agreement. The amounts are not to be netted against securities purchased under agreements to resell.
For series SECA and SECF, for purposes of this report securities sold as principal under a repurchase agreement are deemed to be securities owned by the respondent and the market is included under "Securities and spot commodities owned, at market value." The proceeds of sale related to securities sold under repurchase agreements are to be reported under this section.
