Data Description:

Includes the outstanding principle balance of delinquent loans and defaulted securities. Also includes accrued interest and advance payments of borrowers' taxes and insurance.

Do not deduct contra-assets applicable to such loans or securities or the assumed liability of a wrap-around loan. Exclude grace periods when calculating the contractual due date of a loan or security.

Loans and securities are defined as delinquent when required payments (principal and interest) are contractually overdue by two calendar months.
