Data Description:
Includes the gross amount of loans originated during the quarter in the name of the reporting entities of the types reportable in item 0446.
Also includes the gross amount of refinancing loans; the gross amount of wrap-around loans; increases in loan balances of existing loans (e.g., negative amortizations and additional disbursements of home equity loans) report as originations even though they increase loan balances of existing loans; the gross amount of loans closed where the full amount of the principal is expected to be disbursed within a specific time-frame (e.g., construction loans and loans closed but not disbursed awaiting the fulfillment of certain contingencies); first mortgage loans; and junior liens on real estate.
Exclude the undisbursed amount of open-end mortgage loans; report only the amount disbursed.
NOTE:
For series FEDF title is "Data Variable", this is used as a data variable but the meaning of the variable is not recorded in the MDRM.
