A one-digit code indicating the security status of a loan.

1 = "Farm real estate" - applies when the loan is classified in "Loans Secured By Farmland (1420)".

2 = "Other collateral" - applies when the loan is secured by collateral other than farm real estate.

3 = "Not secured" - applies when the loan is not secured by collateral of any kind.

NOTE:

Reported on the FR 2028B report.

COMPARABILITY:

Prior to 8/4/86, title name was "Loan Secured" and the codes were 1 = loan secured by collateral of some kind and 2 = loan is not secured.
