Data Description:
Include this line as a positive amount since it will be deducted from equity capital in calculating tangible capital. Include all purchased mortgage loan servicing included in item 59 ("Consolidated Statement of Condition - Other Assets") that is not in a nonincludable subsidiary minus the lesser of:
1. Ninety percent of original cost of all qualifying purchased mortgage servicing;
2. The unamortized book value of all qualifying purchased mortgage servicing;
3. Ninety percent of current fair value of all qualifying purchased mortgage servicing; or
4. The unamortized book value of nongrandfathered qualifying purchased mortgage loan servicing that exceeds 50% of item 6421. Note: If the grandfathered amount is zero, then item 4 is 50% of item 6421.
