Data Description:

Includes all time deposits in denominations of less than $100,000 with original maturities of at least 3-1/2 years that were issued on or after May 1, 1982, and that pay fixed interest rates. Such deposits, which may be negotiable or nonnegotiable, must be offered in denominations of $500 but may also be offered in other denominations. Excludes those time deposits held in IRA and KEOGH plans.
