Includes the total dollar amount of other NOW accounts, regardless of account balance, reported in "Savings Deposits Of Individuals And Nonprofit Organizations (6660)", "Savings Deposits Of United States Government (6705)" and "Savings Deposits Of States And Political Subdivisions In The United States (6710)" that are not eligible under the stated or implied agreement between depositor and depository to earn more than 5.25 percent under any condition. (NOW accounts are savings deposits held by individuals, sole proprietorships, certain nonprofit organizations, and governmental units in the United States, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories and possessions that are subject to unlimited negotiable orders of withdrawals.) Excludes "Super NOW" Accounts (2357)". Also includes ATS accounts (savings deposits authorized for automatic transfer) reported in "Savings Deposits Of Individuals And Nonprofit Organizations (6660)". ATS accounts are savings deposits, held by individuals or households, that are authorized for automatic transfer to demand deposit accounts pursuant to written agreement arranged in advance between the bank and the depositor (a savings account subject solely to telephone transfer is not considered to be an ATS account). NOTE: For the "EDDS," "MKSD," "QEDS," and "SBSR" series, prior to 9/20/88, reported as a derived item which includes the sum of items 2398 and 2402. For the "MKSD," and "SBSR" series, prior to 1/31/84, reported as a single item.
