Data Description:

Report the bank's Tier 1 leverage ratio as a percentage. Banks with financial subsidiaries must also complete column A. The ratio for column A is determined as follows:

Schedule RC-R, item 11, minus (0.5 x Schedule RC-R, item 28) divided by Schedule RC-R, item 27, minus Schedule RC-R, item 30.

Reported in Schedule RC-R Regulatory Capital for the FFIEC 031 and 041 reports.

Added to EXAM 20071017 - The total dollar value of tier 1 risk-based capital divided by the total dollar value of average assets less required adjustments as defined in
Regulation H. In cases where examination findings materially affect conclusions regarding capital adequacy, examiners must adjust this ratio as of the Asset Quality Review Date to reflect examination findings. When examination findings result in a change in the bank's prompt corrective action designation, this ratio must be adjusted.
