Data Description:

Reported are the total sales (in domestic offices) during the quarter ending with the report date of proprietary mutual funds and annuities. These sales are included in items 6441, 8427, 8428, 8429 and 8430.

A general description of a proprietary product is included in the instruction to "Mutual fund and annuity sales (in domestic offices) during the quarter." (See item 10 in Schedule RC-M in the Instructions to the Consolidated Reports of Condition and Income.) Proprietary mutual funds and annuities are typically created by large banking organizations and offered to customers of the banking organization's subsidiary banks. Therefore, small, independent banks are not normally involved in the sale of proprietary mutual funds and annuities.

Entities that do not sell proprietary mutual funds and annuities should report a zero or the word "none" in this item.

NOTE:

Reported in Schedule RC-M for the FFIEC 031, 032, 033 and 034 reports.

Reported in Schedule HC-G for the FR Y-9C report.

Reported in the DB2 SURH01 table for "SURH".

Reported in the DB2 SURV01 table for "SURV".
