Data Description:
A one-digit code indicating that E1 (9068) is considered to maintain some level of control and/or influence after transfer of E2 (9069) as a result of a rebuttable presumption of control pursuant to Section 2(g)(3) of the Bank Holding Company Act.
This basis identifies the following situations resulting in a rebuttable presumption of control:
1) An ineffective divestiture of E2 by E1;
2) The transfer of E2 to an entity indebted to E1; and
3) The transfer of E2 to an entity with one or more officers, directors, trustees, or beneficiaries in common
with or subject to control by E1.
In general, Section 2(g)(3) as a basis for relationship will not be used concurrently with any other basis for relationship between the same E1 and E2.
0 = 2G3 is not a basis for this relationship (not applicable for relationships with level = direct, indirect, or DPC)
1 = 2G3 is a basis for this relationship
