Data Description:
A four-digit numeric code assigned to the MSA or PMSA where the entity is physically located. Effective 6/30/83, an entity is located in either an MSA or PMSA. For data prior to 6/30/83, the item value will be the MSA. (Source: FIPS Pub 8.)
