Data Description:

A geographic coordinate that specifies the north-south position of a point on the Earth's surface relative to the equator. The latitude value is a nullable signed decimal in the form -###.###### where a positive sign indicates north and a negative sign indicates south. Latitude is available in NIC only for entities located within the United States or U.S. territories. LAT may be null for these entities, however, if address information is insufficient to determine latitude.

The latitude in degrees, minutes, and seconds (DD/MM/SS), of the entity.
