Data Description:
Includes the historical cost of all investments in mutual funds and other equity securities with readily determinable fair values. Such securities include, but are not limited to, money market mutual funds, mutual funds that invest solely in U.S. Government securities, common stock of the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae), preferred stock and unrestricted voting common stock of the Student Loan Marketing Association (Sallie Mae), and common stock of the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac). NOTE: Reported on Schedule RC-B Securities for the FFIEC 031, 032, 033 and 034 reports. Reported on Schedule HC-A for the FR Y-9C report. COMPARABILITY: Beginning, 3/31/1998, reported on Schedule RC-H for the FFIEC 031 report. For the UBPR series, the FDIC's Data Element name is H-EQFVMUTAAM This variable is used by the FDIC and OCC in the process to generate the UBPR in the Central Data Repository (CDR).
