Data Description:

Report the amount of assets (stated in U.S. dollars) held by mutual funds and annuities as of the report date for which the reporting bank or a subsidiary of the bank acts as investment adviser.

A general description of a proprietary product is included in the instruction to Schedule RC-M, item 6. Proprietary mutual funds and annuities are typically created by large banking organizations and offered to customers of the banking organization's subsidiary banks. Therefore, small, independent banks do not normally act as investment advisers for mutual funds and annuities.

If neither the bank nor any subsidiary of the bank acts as investment adviser for a mutual fund or annuity, the bank should report a zero or the word "none" in this item.

COMPARABILITY:

Beginning 3/31/04, reported on Schedule SI for the SVGL report.

Beginning 6/30/01, reported on Schedule RC for the 2886b report.

Beginning 6/30/01, reported on Schedule RAL Memoranda for the FFIEC 002 report.

NOTE:

Reported on Schedule RC-M Memoranda for the FFIEC 031 and 041 reports.

Reported on Schedule RC-M for the FR Y-9C (BHCK) report.
