Data Description:

For this column D-20% risk weight, include the credit equivalent amount of the portion of financial standby letters of credit reported in Schedule RC-L, item 2.a, that has been conveyed to U.S. and other OECD depository institutions (and to non-OECD depository institutions for letters of credit with remaining maturities of one year or less). Also include in column D the credit equivalent amount of financial standby letters of credit to which the ratings-based approach applies that are rated in the highest or second highest investment grade category, e.g., AAA or AA, in the case of long-term ratings, or in the highest rating category, e.g., A-1 or P-1, in the case of short-term ratings.

NOTE:

Replaces item no. B647 because of the new way "Standby Letters of Credit" are calculated.

Reported on Schedule RC-R for the FFIEC 031 and 041 reports.

This variable is used by the FDIC and OCC in the process to generate the UBPR in the Central Data Repository (CDR). The Board does NOT store this MDRM within the UBPR series tables in the Board's Financial Data Repository (FDR).
